Explore the intersection between creative expression and scientific exploration through this stunning performance of N o t h i n g T h a t I s N o t T h e r e from Nora Gibson Contemporary Ballet. Physics, object oriented ontology, beauty, and essence crystallize in this ambient work for 8 dancers with sonic landscapes by Michael Reiley McDermott. Blurring the line between art and science, this 90-minute work was created in part during a residency at Kaatsbaan International Dance Center in Tivoli, New York, and is the culmination of a physics-based study by an aerospace mechanical engineer and a choreographer.
