As September is upon us, more Autumn responsibilities seem to reveal themselves, as Summer freedoms tend to disappear. Do you notice this shift in other areas of your life? Do you find that the ‘winds of change’ are stressful or a struggle? Know that this is a very normal response when encountering turns of the season. They often simultaneously impact other changes in our daily lives. And so, what if we engage in these cycles of Mother Nature, to begin aligning cycles of ourselves with increased calm and resilience? Perhaps we can grow a deeper awareness of all that does not serve us, release it, and then focus instead on the positive energy and experiences that remain. In this workshop designed for yoga and self-care practices – you can do just that.
Carly invites you to join her on Sunday, September 10th, for a yoga workshop created for setting such intentions. By way of yogic philosophy and practices (such as asana, breathwork, chanting), and the art of free-write journaling, Carly will support your exploration of this courageous ‘burning up’ (also known as tapas) to free up space for future goals. During the afternoon, Carly will lead you through some guided meditation and yoga sequencing, including a longer-than-usual Savasana, conceived with the purpose of relaxation and grounding.
No experience is required – come exactly as you are. Whether or not you are new to yoga, Carly will be fully present for your journey as instructor. Her main goal is to highlight opportunities on and off of the mat where you can continue the ritual of using self-care tools for personal enrichment and restoration.
