As an activist, journalist, and the founder/publisher of the Philadelphia Gay News, Mark Segal has been championing LGBTQ rights since the Stonewall demonstrations in 1969, to his recent tenure as president of the National Gay Newspaper Guild. In this discussion, Mark will speak on his role in past battles for gay rights, and impart knowledge and ideas on how we can get involved in the movement for LGBTQ rights for the future.

Mark Segal currently writes for and publishes the Philadelphia Gay News, and is the Author of «And Then I Danced: Traveling the Road to LGBT Equality.»
