Yin Yoga Teacher Training – 30 Hours

Class meets on the following dates:
Fridays- Sep 22, Sep 29, Oct 6, Oct 13 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm
Saturdays- Sep 23, Sep 30, Oct 7, Oct 14 from 1:00 – 5:30 pm
CE Credits available to Yoga Teachers!
(For Yoga Alliance Certified Yoga Teachers, this meets Yoga Alliance’s required CE credits for 3 years!)
Dive deeper into the practice of Yin Yoga. This course is for anyone that would like to learn more about the practice of Yin Yoga!
In this training, you will learn:
• The history of Yin Yoga
• Benefits of a regular Yin Yoga practice
• The repertoire of Yin poses including which meridians are affected and contraindications for specific poses
• How connective tissue and meridian theory relate to Yin practice
• How to adapt/modify Yin poses when necessary
• How teaching Yin Yoga differs from teaching other styles of yoga
• How to sequence a class using several different approaches

Victoria Purcell-Goodwin,ERYT, is the owner of the Blissful Yoga & co-founder of One Bliss Yoga Retreats, an international yoga retreat company that offers fully escorted mindful tours to unique destinations.
Victoria is a strong believer in the value of regular personal practice. Beginning in 2000, she found that a consistent regimen of yoga and meditation helped her to manage Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy, a chronic pain condition. She then took her first yoga teacher certification & has been an avid student & teacher ever since. Her passion and calling have led her to extended stays in India where she has spent undisturbed time in meditation, exploration, and the study of Yoga philosophy and Ayurveda. Victoria describes her trips as “magical”, bringing mind, body, and spirit into a united surrender to faith.
