What is Kundalini Yoga?
Kundalini Yoga is the original and most powerful system of yoga. The word «Kundalini» means awarenss. In yogic tradition, Kundalini is the latent spiritual energy within every person that can be awakened by the practice of yoga.
Kundalini Yoga uses sets of yogic postures and movements (asana) with meditative focus, breath work (pranayama), and chanting (mantra).
In addition to strengthening the health and well-being of the physical body, it is very useful for emotional balance, mental clarity, stress relief, and personal transformation.
Both Kundalini Yoga and Essential Oils tap into the parasympathetic nervous system, which controls the body's own ability to relax. A calm and relaxed body in the present moment is necessary for the proper attunement needed to raise one's vibrational energy.
Twenty seconds after the inhalation of an essential oil a visceral reaction occurs in the amygdale (the emotional core of the brain). That reaction is tagged and stored by the effect of that emotion. In this practice the aim is to transmute stress into wellness through SCENTsations.
