We need volunteers Tues. Aug. 15 & Wed. Aug. 16! There’s a new attraction along the Bartram’s Garden riverfront this summer: a bio-remediating floating wetlands, created by summer intern Lucas Bolno. Join Lucas to plant the floating wetlands and help re-vegetate the river.

We will be planting five native species:

Asclepias Incarnata
Hibiscus Moschuetos
Iris Versicolor
Juncus Effusus
Lobelia Cardinalis

Lucas will be planting the wetlands from 9 am to 5 pm on Tuesday, August 15 and Wednesday, August 16. Volunteers welcome for either or both days; please indicate your time commitment when registering.

*Available Hours are 9 am — 5 pm.

No special experience or skills required. Dress for working outdoors, including sun protection, and if you have them, bring work gloves and a water bottle.
Only registered users may comment.
