Set forth with this FringeArts favorite on a journey unto the … strand…, the troupe’s latest immersive, site-specific production. Don your headsets and field gear; seek out along a self-guided adventure through the urban wilds. What seems, remains to be seen. Worlds; eras, scrape, collide and, unfold us into our future.

Don’t miss this one-of-a-kind Fringe experience as JUNK takes you on a thrilling journey through Forgotten Bottom…Choose an adventure that’s right for you, from Rugged Primal to Future Fancy Ultimate, or, even…dare to warp between.

...strand...is a 50 minute walking-tour/show where audience members are led along various paths on the little known Schuylkill River Bank strand at Grays Ferry Crescent Trail Park, aka Forgotten Bottom.

To participate in the performance, audience members select from the tours below. The tours, eras, and tours collide, as each of the adventures eventually intersect in a final event on the crescent at sunset.

The tours are a blend of self-guided adventure, immersive performance, and acrobatic dance-theater, a celebration and exploration of shrubs, rivers, and liminal worlds. Each tour contains its own unique experiences, starting point, and, amenities; chose your tour wisely.
