Touted as America’s first serial killer, H.H. Holmes was rumored to have claimed as many as 200 lives in the late 19th century, before being caught—and sentenced to death—in Philadelphia. This past spring, University of Pennsylvania and Penn Museum anthropologists, archaeologists, and psychiatrists contributed their expertise to «American Ripper», a new television series on HISTORY, to investigate the life and death of H.H. Holmes. Join these experts in a discussion taking you behind the scenes of the making of the series and into the mind of a presumed serial killer. «American Ripper» premiered Tuesday July 11, 10 pm EST and continues weekly through August 29, 2017. Admission: $5.
