Women make up only around 25% of the workforce in the brewing industry. The Pink Boots Society and USciences Brewing Science program are collaborating to present the 1st annual Women in Brewing Symposium on Sunday August 20th for a discussion of key issues and advances for women in the industry. The symposium opens with a keynote from Megan Parisi of Boston Beer Co. followed by a panel discussion from several expert women in the industry, moderated by Tara Nurin, beer journalist. 100% of the proceeds from this event will benefit women in the brewing industry.
