Monk's Cafe is honored to participate again in Cantillon Zwanze Day, aka lambic-freak Christmas, on Saturday September 23.

Every year, Brasserie Cantillon in Brussels, Belgium brews and blends a special, one-off, experiemental lambic beer: Zwanze. This year's iteration is inspired by, and commemorates Cantillon brewer Jean Van Roy's son Sylvain, soon to celebrate his 18th birthday. His tea-infused lambic will be simultapped around the world at 3pm Eastern Time. We will join the Van Roys and our friends around the globe to lift a glass to friendship, family, and Sylvain's solar rotation.

We will open at NOON pouring a jaw-dropping variety of the finest beer in the world, from Brasserie Cantillon, Russian River Brewing Company, and a host of others with 100% of all purchase prices donated to a nonprofit partner TBA.

Zwanze Day Fundraiser is always CASH ONLY. Monk's will open at NOON and Zwanze 2017 will be tapped at 3pm. First come, first served. No tickets or reservations. We look forward to celebrating #ZwanzeDay2017 with you!
