Nobel laurate Orhan Pamuk sits down with former Ambassador to Afghanistan Robert Finn, scholar of Turkish literature and translator of Pamuk’s Silent House (2012). Orhan Pamuk won the Nobel Prize in 2006. His novel My Name is Red won the 2003 IMPAC Dublin Literary Award. His work has been translated into more than sixty languages. With Ambassador Finn, he will discuss his latest novel, The Red-Haired Women (2016), and other books as well as the current state of literary and cultural life in his country.
