Artist Jamel Shabazz and Mel Chin will take part in a public conversation about the Monument Lab exhibition and thier projects, moderated by Annette John-Hall, WHYY reporter for Keystone Crossroads, a statewide public media initiative focused on the problems facing Pennsylvania's cities and possible solutions.
In Vernon Park, Love is the Message is Shabazz’s tribute to African American veterans and their families, working with portraiture and photography. Mel Chin's Two Me invites the public to pose as living monuments in the courtyard of City Hall.
