Artist Jamel Shabazz and a special guest will take part in a public conversation about the Monument Lab exhibition and Shabazz’s project. In Vernon Park, Love is the Message is Shabazz’s tribute to African American veterans and their families, working with portraiture and photography.

Monument Lab: A Public Art and History Project from Mural Arts Philadelphia and a team led by curators Paul M. Farber and Ken Lum, taking place citywide in fall 2017.
