Men Can is a campaign to empower more men to speak out against Intimate Partner Violence in Philadelphia.

The Men Can rally is a place to celebrate all of the work to prevent Intimate Partner Violence that has happened in Philly in the past year, and to especially recognize the efforts of one man who has played a powerful role in making our homes, neighborhoods and communities safer. This year that man will be Dr. Mario Cruz of Philadelphia FIGHT.
Come to the rally for the free food, entertainment, inspiring stories and speeches, and to learn how to get plugged into helping to prevent Intimate Partner Violence and challenge toxic masculinity. #MenCan2017

As one of the first domestic violence programs in Pennsylvania, Lutheran Settlement House’s Bilingual Domestic Violence Program has provided crisis and prevention programming to families experiencing domestic violence for over 40 years. Today BDVP offers counseling for all individuals affected by domestic violence, coverage of the Philadelphia Domestic Violence Hotline, transitional housing for families displaced by violence, medical advocacy in four Philadelphia hospital systems, and prevention services and education.
