This workshop is designed for those ages 15 and up.
Sticky, slimy, sweet, savory—the introduction of 3D printing technology has unlocked a whole new world of culinary possibilities! In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how innovative startups like local company, Biobots, are changing the face of food using bioprinting technology. Together, participants will discover how 3D printed food can impact the lives of the elderly, ill, and astronauts, and will explore medicinal applications for 3D printed food. Participants won’t leave hungry, however—this class will culminate in printing and tasting your own unique snack!
Tickets are $20 for members in The Franklin Institute and $35 for the general public. Details here: bit.ly/2xYazge
