**Music For The Arts: 11th Annual Benefit**
In an effort to bring together local artists and musicians, the Cullen family will host its 11th annual Music For The Arts on Friday, January 18th.
This event affords artists the opportunity to donate or display their work at the benefit while local musicians take the stage. If you are a photographer, painter, or any other kind of artist, this is a great opportunity to network and get your art out there for people to see.
Friends, family, newcomers and neighbors are invited to enjoy the sounds and take in some culture. $20 entrance fee/donation will be accepted at the door. All donations will be made in the name of our sister, daughter, cousin and friend to many — Christina Marie Cullen. She was a gifted artist, photographer and musician and this is the only true way to honor her life.
In addition, we are always looking for donations of all kinds — big or small — for our raffle and auction. It's a great way to represent your business or art with this local community gathering.
If you are interested in participating or donating, please contact Jason Cullen at [email protected]
**Old Soul Revival**
Original Jam and Rock n' Roll derived from the Roots of American Music
**Chris Grunwald & The Slow Response**
Affectionately known by all who love him as Griz (and currently performing under that pseudonym), singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, Chris Grunwald, is a maverick in the Philadelphia music community. Loosely described as an Americana-Folk artist, his work defies an easy pigeonhole as it effortlessly pushes the boundaries of compatible genres including reggae, rock, alternative and country, while still maintaining his unique and recognizable signature sounds. Throughout his life in Philly, Grunwald quietly and unassumingly grew himself as an artist while working with other bands of local and national acclaim, until blossoming as an entity all his own. Now constantly adding to his creative resume, he continues to explore different musical avenues as a solo performer, with his full band and with several other projects.
**T.C Cole Riot**
The Riot is a collective effort of musicians surrounding the songwriting of TC Cole, stylistically coming from Folk, Punk, Country and Blues music.
The force behind the annual Music For The Arts Benefit Concert as they remember their sister Christina. Droppin Deuce are two brothers from the burbs of Philly that formed a punk band in their parents basement in early 2000's. They've enlisted guitar, flute and horn players as well as guest MC's to join them on stage and keep it interesting.
**The Bad Larrys**
The Bad Larrys are a five-piece proto-punk & psych-surf band based in Philadelphia, PA. The quintet's sound combines a love of classic surf rock and storytelling with the raw power of pre-punk rock and roll. Leveraging the talented hands and vintage equipment of Drowning Fish Studios, as well as the Grammy award-winning mastering of Pete Lyman's Infrasonic Sound, The Bad Larrys first full length album, “Hodads”, is due for digital release this New Years Eve, and will be manifesting to vinyl early next year.
