Shake up your weeknight menus with some healthy and satisfying Classic Asian Home Cooking... Junnie will show you quick techniques, and how to easily source the right ingredients so that you can create bold and authentic flavors in your home kitchen.
This interactive class will focus on the making of fresh Chinese egg noodles.
Then we'll enjoy two variations:
• stir fried with Mushrooms and Minced Meat Sauce
• and with Bone Broth — everyone will create their own Ramen Bowl with fresh noodles and a variety of traditional garnishes.
Junnie Lai is a chef who uses her talents and creativity to make beautiful, delicious and health-conscious food. Born and raised in Malaysia (and, she has just returned from a month-long visit) — Junnie grew up in her family's baking business, and has extensive experience in baking and pastry, as well as various Asian cuisines. She continued her education and training in the United States, and has worked in the US as a research chef in food product development, and as a pastry chef at a five-star hotel-brasserie. She teaches Culinary Arts at Drexel University, and has recently established her own culinary consulting business.
