Yoga for Anxiety and Depression with Naima Merella

This special 1 hr 45 min workshop uses yoga, breathwork and meditation as helpful tools for coping with feelings of both anxiety and depression. For everyone, no experience necessary.

Naima Merella is a Registered Yoga Teacher. Her training is in Alignment Based Vinyasa but she is also certified in Yin Yoga. She has experience in Kundalini Yoga, Acro Yoga and Restorative Yoga. She co-taught Yoga for Intense Emotions Workshops with Marilyn Bruno- Seitz RYT, LPC. Her classes are all about self care and how we can use our practice to help nourish ourselves. Naima loves the therapeutic benefits of yoga both physically and mentally. She believes that yoga can be a gateway to befriending ourselves and can be a catalyst which helps promote the natural healing process of the body & mind. Please note that Naima is not a therapist, she is simply sharing techniques and teachings that have been helpful in her own experience with these emotions. She has learned these techniques through other yoga teachers, therapists and her own research on this subject.
