Award-winning Director, Brian Sanders, brings you an evening of “breathtakingly dangerous and hauntingly beautiful” theatrics, as JUNK presents Dancing Dead IPX – an immersive performance experience. Staged in a local landmark, the Shiloh Baptist Church, Dancing Dead IPX breathes new life–and “the dead”–into the three story attraction.
Originally produced in 2011, the new production of Dancing Dead IPX includes extended material set to engage the seven senses of the human body within a fully immersive theater experience. The audience traverses the spectacle of aerial acrobatics, the humor and humanness of theatre, and the awe-inspiring presence of one of Philly’s edgiest band of artists.
The IPX ...Ticket, Immersive Performance eXperience, is the full Dancing Dead Experience. Performance and installation begins in the Clubhouse with complimentary beverages and continues throughout several halls within the complex. Patrons are lead through different areas during the performance including an old chapel, locker-room, and, gymnasium. The experience culminates in a 45 minute seated finale performance in the cavernous Shiloh hall with soaring 60 foot wood beamed ceilings
The Partial Immersion Ticket is a limited version of the IPX ticket. With the partial immersion ticket, patrons are able enjoy a shorter 50 minute experience including a seated finale performance in cavernous Shiloh hall with soaring 60 foot wood beamed ceilings.
