The legendary Hammond B3 organ deserves its own festival, so we decided to give it one, curated by Center City Jazz Festival founder Ernest Stuart and journalist Victor Fiorillo and generously sponsored by OCF Realty and The Original Pat's King of Steaks.
The Philly Hammond B3 Festival will be held at Bob & Barbara's Lounge, which, we're pretty sure, is the last club in Philly that still has one of these iconic instruments.
This festival is free and open to the public (21 and older) and kicks off at 2pm on Saturday, July 14th and runs all day and night.
Scheduled to perform at the Philly Hammond B3 Festival:
The Bootsie Barnes Organ Quartet
Dominique Johnson (Chicago)…
Luke Carlos O'Reilly
Azel J. Dixson w/ PJ Brown and Brian Williams
St. James & the Apostles
The Four Notes
Plus: DJ Steven Ferrell
