POP Goes the Classical: A Celebration of Musical Diversity

Philadelphia Ethical Society
1906 Rittenhouse Sq, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19103
This platform will be lead by Robert Edwin Steinfort, PES Member and Musician

To help heal a divided musical world, singer Robert Edwin (aka Bob Steinfort) and his collaborative pianist, Joseph Krupa, will share several classical piano pieces that were turned into popular songs.

Do you know where the pop song, Groovy Kind of Love, came from? Do you know what Mozart’s Concerto No. 21, 2nd movement morphed into? Classical music lovers and pop song aficionados alike will enjoy this program (altho’ maybe not at the same time)!
