All are welcome to explore an evening of poetry focused on the intersection of mass incarceration and education.

Hosted by Philadelphia's Poet Laureate — Raquel Salas Rivera — the evening will include readings by poets Kenning JP Garcia, Itiola Jones, Cortney Lamar Charleston, & Oskar Castro. The Featured Poet for the evening will be author and poet, Becky Birtha.

This is a FREE event sponsored by the Central Philadelphia Friends Meeting on July 12 from 7 pm — 10 pm at the Friends Center — 1501 Cherry Street, Philadelphia, PA
